This assembly consists of a fabricated metal frame with two adjustable and sealed limit switches fitted and pre-wired with tails.
The frame is designed to be mounted on the bottom bolt of the egg rack in OLDER MODEL existing Greatlander Incubators.
The wiring may be run in series from the original reed limit switches to these new switches then to the turning motor.
Alternatively, the wiring may bypass the original limit switches.
These `sealed' switches have supereseded the reed switches in older machines. With those reed switches, chick fluff would accumulate on the open connectors on top of the switch block. This could cause a short overbridging the limit switch - it was the most common cause of a turning motor malfunction.
