This assembly consists of a fabricated metal frame with two adjustable and sealed limit switches fitted and pre-wired with tails.
The frame is designed to be mounted on the bottom bolt of the egg rack in existing Greatlander Incubators.
The wiring may be run in series from the original reed limit switches to these new switches then to the turning motor.
Alternatively, the wiring may bypass the original limit switches.
These `sealed' switches are specified in our wet incubators, incubators with a micro-misting function for waterfowl.
However in dry sets, chick fluff will accumulate on the open connectors on top of the `reed' limit switches.
This can cause a short by-passing the limit switch - it is the most common cause of a turning motor malfunction.
